Hello Erik,

Short answer: # apt-get install kde

More details: according to 
  % apt-cache search kde | grep kde
the debian package for KDE is called ' kde ' (I'm using XFCE myself, not KDE), 
so:

(as root)
  # apt-get update 
to update the list of packages available on the mirrors you are pointing to, 
and then:
  # apt-get install kde
will update the package - if the version available is newer than the one 
you're using.
