It's a problem with 'gsfonts_8.14+urwcyr1.0.7pre35-1_all.deb'.  There are a
couple of (related) bug reports filed against the 'gsfonts' package.
Downgrading to 'gsfonts_8.14-3_all.deb' fixes the problem.
