If you're simply trying to get it off your console, it's better to edit
/etc/init.d/klogd and add "-c 4" to the line that starts KLOGD=.
(Then you'll need to run '/etc/init.d/klogd restart'.) This will still
log the same amount to/var/log/syslog, but it won't echo it to your
console. Plus, it will keep working after you reboot.

If the IP address seems to match one of the other computers on your
network, however, you'll want to be sure that there's not any malicious
ware involved.
