Actually, with the amount of fixes the tg3 driver got recently, it might be
accepting module options now.  Let me check what we have in 2.4.27-debian +
2.4.28-pre1 prepatch...  No, the only module option is "debug".

OTOH it does seem to have the ethtool support, so that should work.
