I suspect it is Yahoo only accepting certain amounts of mail from
certain hosts at the same time. I know AOL used to do this. Another term
is throttling. They slow down how many messages get through per
connection.

I'll bet some turned it on at yahoo. seeing that probably a good 100K
messages goto yahoo per day... they see this as spam or a type of spam.
