Downloading Sarge is impossible using a 56k modem. And I really want a "stable" release; having a stable OS was one of my reasons to change from SuSE to Debian (besides lots of other reasons which mostly deal with ethics and moral etc.)
"Stable" has a variety of meanings. In Debian, it's essentially "unchanging." Doesn't actually mean it works, and some ofits component parts simply do no.
selinux is such a part.As for downloading Sarge via a modem: I maintain three Sarge systems via a modem. One of the three is a desktop system, the others servers.
So; thanks for your hints; I'll try to contact HP to get an idea why the hpoj software won't work together with "acient" (4 years old?) woody. There simply must be a reason for that ...
Yeah. You need the work HP has done in the past four years. -- Cheers John -- spambait 1aaaaaaa@computerdatasafe.com.au Z1aaaaaaa@computerdatasafe.com.au Tourist pics http://portgeographe.environmentaldisasters.cds.merseine.nu/
