/command/ 2>&1 | less where: - the "command" is the specific function or action to be performed - "2>" is the instruction to direct (the errors?) to stderr - "&1" is the instruction to duplicate these error messages to stdout - "| less" is the instruction to output the result of the command to less. Is this right? Just out of curiosity what exactly is stderr and stdout? You guys are great! Elijah
