don't worry about terminology or what to buy, everybody will try to sell
you what they are using or selling :-)
	- buy whatever is on sale if $$$ is important
	- buy your favorite name brand if you have had better luck with
brand xxx and can't stand the competitor's yyy products

if you want to minimize your costs:
	- use cat5 cables that you already have between all your pcs
	- you don't need to spend a dime, since it's all working arleady

your issues ... ( if you wanna get on the wireless headache bandwagon )

- if you keep your cable modem, you will need a separate wireless "hub"

- if you buy a new cable modem with "wireless hubb" you will be able to
  throw away your current modem

- both costs about the same depending on your brand preferences
( dlink, netgear, linksys, others 2nd tier vendors )

- keep all of your existing pc behind your firewall

- if you do NOT wire up the pc at the new place, you will probably
use wireless in lieu of cat5 cables
	- if you use wireless, each PC will need a pci card ( $50-$75 )

	- if you use wireless, assume that your neighbor is sniffing
all of the data and can see everything you are doing

( use ssh and vpn, to try to hide some of the data )
