Windows XP is an operating system (OS) for your computer. Debian is
another operating system (OS) for your computer. You either run XP or
Debian or something else entirely (although you can install them both
and decide at boot time). Since this list is devoted to Debian, we
pretend to know nothing about XP.

Sorry...

Of course, to get rid of your problem, download Debian and let the
installer wipe out your entire drive to install Debian on it. Works
great for us! See http://www.debian.org/ and follow instructions. This
list is actually very helpful when you run into problems installing
Debian, ;-)
