No doubt. Is there anything worse than seeing top run in GNOME's terminal emulator consume ~4-6% CPU on a P4 1.7 Ghz machine? It has been a while now since I last tried GNOME, but I do remember that vividly.
I like my xterm full screen (without window decorations) and snappy, thank you.
