Folks: I originally installed woody, then upgraded to testing. Consequently I never upgraded my original woody kernel. I would like to upgrade my kernel to 'kernel-image-2.4.25-1-386'. Is it a simple manner of just 'aptitude install 'kernel-image-2.4.25-1-386' or are there additonal steps one needs to take, when upgrading from such an old kernel? Tips, hints, appreciated. -- Steve +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Sunday May 23 2004 03:06:01 PM EDT +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ How long does it take a DEC field service engineer to change a lightbulb? It depends on how many bad ones he brought with him.
