Tool for software distribution, registration and installation

Hoi,

I'm looking for a tool that i can use to distribute software packages to
my workstations and that automatically install these packages.  It
should also include a registration mechanism so that i can keep track of
the versions that are installed.

For new installations i use FAI, and this works great.  But i mis the
upgrade c.q. additional installation options and registration option.

Is there such a tool ?????
