hotplug problems
Hi all
I'm a new Debian user with a Portege laptop. I have a
USB CD writer which I am trying to mount.
My system:
Portege 7020CT
Debian testing with kernel 2.4
"hotplug" and "discover" installed
When I plug in my CD writer, nothing happens - no
messages in /var/log/messages etc.
The command
# discover all
does not detect my CD writer either.
How can I go about debugging this?
