fontconfig problem with gimp-1.3 or gimp-2.0 on sid
Hello all,
i can't start the gimp-1.3(sid package) or gimp-2.0 (selfcompiled) on
latest sid,
because it gives this as message:

Fontconfig version too old!
The GIMP requires fontconfig version 2.2.0 or later.
Installed fontconfig version is 1.0.2.
Somehow you or your software packager managed
to install The GIMP with an older fontconfig version.
Please upgrade to fontconfig version 2.2.0 or later.

but i have the correct fontconfig installed and also reinstalled.
Also, i have searched the whole disk for an old fontconfig file , but
without success.
Why did it guess i have installed fontconfig version 1.0.2. ??
And where?
Anyone with same problems, and solved ?
