BUT BUT BUT 1) you should install the debian version of expect UNLESS you are a debian guru. 2) I was responding to a request to install a program that was NOT available as a DEBIAN package. So, why do you want to install a program that is already available as a debian package? If you can provide a reasonable answer, then install it. -Kevin
