Hi. I do suspect it's a configuration issue. I don't have an Audigy; but I do have an SB Live 5.1. Both are based around the EMu10k1 controller, and consequently use the same driver. And I'm using ALSA 1.0.1 (not the most current in unstable, but not very different according to the changelogs).
