I have installed unstable on several machines used for desktop units and for some reason on some machines the menu options vary under applications on the top tool bar. Most notable is that on some machines the Debian menu selection at the bottom is empty. the basic install process was essentially the same on every machine. Is this an anomaly that can be corrected by rescanning installed applications in some manner to add them to the menu? TIA Ed Lawson
