solved... Re: xfig not printing-"lpr: stdin empty"-CUPS? What to look for?
Doh.
Went to the xfig documentation to see if there was a way to manipulate
the printer settings, and found that the fig2ps/transfig packages have
somehow slipped out of the dependencies for xfig.
With those installed, things seem fine now.
