snmp and MIBs - missing interface properties



i'm trying to get iog to run on debian stable. Downloaded the .deb from testing, installed all dependent packages from stable and installed the iog .deb.

Everything went ok. Now for the troubled part.

When i run iog i get the message:

I've done a apt-get install:
snmp
snmpd

and after reading a few threads tried snmpwalk -v1 localhost public ang go the following result:

No interfaces properties.

What do i need to get all the properties on my interface.
The network card is a :
