kernel-2.6.0 & linux-wlan-ng Problem

I downloaded and compiled kernel-source-2.6.0 but cannot connect to my wireless LAN via the Netgear MA311 PCI Adapter.
Last February I downloaded linux-wlan-ng-0.1.16-pre10.tar.gz which I am using with a compiled kernel-2.4.22. Make all with the kernel-2.6.0 fails. 

Anyone have success setting this up?
