Re: ATI radeon 9200, 2.6 kernel, xfree 4.3 - but still bad performance (dri failing?)



I have had zero success with the 3D. I was using straight sarge with its xfree4.2 and 2D acceleration. Downloaded the ATI stuff and still no luck. Same situation with my current setup, below:

	debian sarge
	kernel 2.6.1
	xfree 4.3 from experimental (pinned)

The x4.3 does a very nice job finding the card, agp and drm.

Are you loading the agpgart module before starting X (i.e., is
agpgart in /etc/modules)?
