Debian is a Linux operating system, not a Microsoft Windows one. This is
not the place to ask questions about Microsoft products. However, just
this one time:

You don't say whether you are having problems with your Windows
password or a network password. I think that you can do this to
fix it if it is a WIndows password problem:

Boot up from a floppy.

Look on your C: drive for the password file and delete it. The password
file will be called C:\WINDOWS\{USERNAME}.PWL where {USERNAME} is
your user name. Delete it.

Boot up Windows 98 normally. It will probably ask you for a new password.
