just making an off-hand remark. Stating the obvious, really.

Something cannot be "fairly unique".  It's either unique, or it's not.

I didn't see any post indicating that Americans think that everyone
else is backwards, apart from yours.

I'm British.  Welsh, to be exact.  And proud of it.

No doubt you're reading this on a computer with a CPU designed by
Americans, having received it through a network designed and implemented
by Americans and provided freely to the rest of the world.  Enjoy.
