Hi,
I am using Debian 3.0. I have installed the new kernel 2.4.23 over the original kernel version 2.4.18-bf24. I use the classic method to install the kernel, that is :
make mrproper
make xconfig
make dep
make clean
make bzImage
...
make modules; make modules_install
cp ../System.map /boot/System.map-2.4.23
ln -s Sysmap.map-2.4.23 System.map
lilo -v -v -v
After that, I can use the new kernel to boot up, but the machine always tell me that
cannot find modules:xxxxx
cannot find modules:xxxxx
How to deal with this problem?
