I also have an Audigy card, and the only way that I could make it work
was by following the instructions in the alsa site, after downloading
their last version. There are several howtos out there for debian with
alsa, but none of them worked, I repeat, only the instructions in the
alsa site did it. Why, I am clueless, but tha's what happened.
