Mine works using the parallel port. I'm using CUPS with the Gimp-print
driver, version 4.2.5.  It didn't work with USB--rather than taking the
time to get USB working, I just plugged it into the parallel port. The
only problem I have is poor color rendition. I believe that's been fixed in
the latest version of the Gimp-print driver.
