Fortunately, many of us here are RH refugies. Some even still use it
(many clients equate GNU/Linux as Red Hat). And some like it, though I
believe it's fair to suggest that's a minority position.
My first six months of Debian (after 10 years of Unix and 2.5 of RH)
were constant revelation and "Aha!" moments. While I still have some of
these, they're not quite as constant. Occasional bouts of "I really
*love* this distro", though. And I still marvel at stuff like:

# make <some horrendous third-party source package>
