If you're using an mbox, an mbox containing one message is as close to saving the message to a "non-folder" file as it comes. Otherwise, if you're using maildirs, saving it to a new folder will result in a small directory structure in which the message will be the only file, and the only thing in this file is the message. Either way, you've got the message in its own file. I generally use maildirs for mail storage, but for this action, saving it as an mbox is the cleanest way. (And actually, I never do this anyway. There's hardly any place I'd want to store an "important" email other than with all of my other important email -- in my email archive.) good times, Vineet -- http://www.doorstop.net/ -- "Computer Science is no more about computers than astronomy is about telescopes." -- E.W.
