Doom problems?

I just downloaded linuxxdoom from iD, and I'm having some problems with 
it. Here's what happened:

$ ./linuxxdoom
./linuxxdoom: can't load dynamic linker '/lib/ld.so'
$
--

Problem is, /lib/ld.so is there.

--
$ ll /lib/ld.so
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           16 Nov  8 03:01 /lib/ld.so -> 
/lib/ld-2.2.5.so
$
--

Running as root comes up with the same problem.

Help? Is WINE really the answer?
