Why not just replace the BIOS battery? That way you won't lose the time when you shutdown.

Have already replaced the bios battery and it still douse not work. think there is something up with the motherboard.


Sounds like a BIOS that isn't Y2K compatible. I have a P75 with this problem. It keeps the time, month and day, but not the year. It seems to take 10 years off and revert to 1994 whenever it powers back up.
