dselect insisting to install/uninstall dozends of packages

Hello everyone,

I somehow managed that dselect insists on installing or uninstallingdozends of packages (which will most likely ruin my installation). I'vetried everything to erase the selections from dselects memory, includingall solutions described in the dselect introduction on debian.org.


How can I reset dselects selections to the currectly installed packages?
