I haven't been running a local DNS, I get my IP & DNS settings from DNS
from my ISP. I've heard Bind is full of exploits, plus it's overkill
for me (I only have one PC). What would be best for me would be if the
Debian folks could:

(1) Patch and recommend something simpler like DnsMasq so it also
blocked the Verisign think.
(2) Produced a "howto" on the simplest way mere mortals can set it up.

I realized I'm asking for a lot here. I thought about getting the
source for DNSMASQ and trying to patch it and quickly realized I'd be
over my head. Is my only choice to just run Bind?
