By default Debian includes kernel 2.2.20 in new systems.

You can install kernel 2.4.18-bf2.4 by typing "bf24" at the "boot:" prompt
after the installation CD starts.

To get kernel 2.4.18-bf2.4, apt-get kernel-image-2.4.18-bf2.4. It has the
module you need.
