kernenl compiling ? nvidia and acer 630 laptop

Hello, I have a acer 630 laptop and I have debian unstable on it.
I am trying to have the nvidia module work.

There are two nvidia-glx drivers I find in dselect.

nvidia-glx-s and nvidia-glx

they conflict so I have to chose either of them. Which should I use.

In the /usr/share/doc/nvidia-kernel-source/README.Debian

I try the METHOD#2 (running on Debian supplied kernel)

I am to download and install kernel-header package (2.4.22-1-686-smp)
and then build the nvidia-kernel package

(I dont understand the following)

cd <your build location>/modules/nvidia-kernel-1.0.4496
debian/rules binary_modules

Do I make-kpkg in where?

I have only kernel-build-2.4.22-1 and all kinds of kernel-headers ****

I have tried to go in to the /usr/src/modules/nividia-kernel and make-kpkg and nothing
works.

I have always been clumsy at kernel stuffies but I realy would like to use black box on my
acer.

(I tried also to make menuconfig and make-kpkg but that went wrong also)

Totali lost, if somone can help me pleace.

Ingirafn
