I don't see how, expect for the LCD.  Take apart an NCD Xplora if you
ever get a chance.  The mainboard could easily fit in a laptop under
the keyboard and it already uses PCMCIA cards to carry it's own
bootcode for when bootp isn't possible.  Given that the Xplora was
released in the early 1990s, surely we could do it smaller, faster,
cheaper, better now.
