Looks like you haven't got the en_US.ISO-8859-15 locale properly
installed. Try 'dpkg-reconfigure locales'?
(Actually, is ISO-8859-15 even supported for en_US? I wouldn't have
thought there'd be much demand for the Euro character over there.)
