  2 pointers that helped me when trying 2.6.0-test2 for the first time:

1) The 2.6 document drawn up by Dave Jones, 
   http://lwn.net/Articles/39901/.
2) Noticing that 2.6 uses the module-init-tools package.

  I learned about it only when things didn't work. Hopefully others will
be smarter.
