Midnight commander won't start on new install
I just installed Woody and trying to get everything set up, I can't get
Midnight commander to start. Having used Slink this is the only thing I
know to use to get the tweaks set. Anyone run into this problem? I see
it in the /bin directory. Is there anything else comprable to use?
I tried to use XF86config and try to get a file manager under graphical
but can't get that going as it appears to be writing the config to a
directory that can't be used by the X. Is there an alternate to this also?
While waiting I think I will use windows to go to the Debian FTP and see
if I can spot a file mangager and try to import if from the Win partition.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Robert
