? about browser's talk

do you know how to monitor browser's talk with the
server? i mean is there any Linux tool that can
cpature that sesstion?

also, the html page has a few input box, when you
enter values and click submit button, the browser will
return info based on your input. i want to write a
program to repeatedly get info from the server, what's
uri to get that data?
