Re: cupsd not working. Now working, but test page shifted up and left

Well, it could have been that I have a bad parallel port. I got tired of trying to find the problem, and connected the printer to the usb port. Reinstalled cups (have to say that I had tried other printing systems also), changed the settings to usb, changed the driver to gimp and have it working now.
However, the test page is shifted up 6mm and left 1 mm.
How do I fix this?
