Yup.  You want to enable WINS in the samba daemon (it's right there in
/etc/samba/smb.conf) and tell your other clients about the WINS
server.  If you're using DHCP to configure your Windows hosts, you can
automate the task of telling them about the WINS server by telling
your DHCP server about it.
