Your software is malfunctioning and bouncing to the incorrect
addresses.  Bounces should go to the From ... header at the very top
of the message, not to the From: header.  Hence, whatever your broken
software bounced should have gone to
bounce-debian-user=jdellinger=trc.amoco.com@lists.debian.org, *not*
debian-user@lists.debian.org.
