To fix the situation I would suggest:
dpkg -i --force-overwrite 
/var/cache/apt/archives/openoffice.org_1.0.3-2_all.deb
but one should be sure about the compatibility of the package, i.e. if I have 
woody it needs to be a backport for woody etc.
