mozilla 1.3.1 won't startup when logged in as user

Hello,

I have the following problem:

When logged in as root Mozilla 1.3.1 will startup.
When logged in as user Mozilla 1.3.1 won't startup.
With option -splash, splash window will appear, the files and default
directory are in .mozilla and seems to be OK.

When i delete the .mozilla directory and startup again no luck.

I'am using kernel 2.4.20 i386 on a VIA C3, Debian testing/unstable, icewm
as  windowmanager.

The question is where to look for or which debug option can be used to
check where the startup stops?
