pcmcia modem
Hi,
I have a question concerning pcmcia modem, which is full hardware. I
can't find anything about it on web. Manufacutrer says that it works
with RH 7.1 if you install "everything neccessary" for network. I called
them, but they had absolutely no idea what exactly are they talking
about. They have full RH installation and they just tried it. That's all
I got from them? I dont't understand these hardware issues very well, so
I'd like to know if I can expect it to work on my laptop with Debian
testing/unstable.
What would you think and/or what do I need to test it. I mean which
packages (only pcmcia-cs or more) and how exactly do I test it,
beacause I can convince someone to let me try it in the shop.
In fact I have pcmcia-cs installed and I tried lspci -v on this card,
but I didn't recognize it. Would that mean that I need to insmod some
specific driver for that card?
