It might not be in the 'default stream' of the install, but it's certainly possible to get to it. Also, if you have a CD drive (even if you can't boot from it), installing via a netinst CD is muuuuuuuuuuuch simpler than a pure floppy one. http://www.debian.org/CD/netinst/ has a few.
