Indeed.  However, 3.2 should also work for newer kernels (as in 2.4.20,
and 2.5); if it doesn't it's a bug in gcc or a bug in the kernel itself.
Also, gcc 3.2.3 is the default C compiler, which will be used unless you
explicitly tell it to use something else.
