This is a new Kaser card with new Knoppix install.
I still can't get dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86
to work???

# dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86
dexconf: cannot generate configuration file;
xserver-xfree86/config/inputdevice/keyboard/rules not set.  Aborting.
Reconfigure the X server with "dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86" to correct
this problem.
Unable to write X server configuration file.
