Fonts in Mozilla

Hi,

I have Sarge (Kernel 2.4.20), with Gnome and Sawfish, my fonts in the 
windows, menus and in some other parts are ok. but in the main windows of 
Mozilla or Galeon, and in the greeting of gdm are wrong, is difficult to 
read them.
Can someone tell me, what do I have to configure to get some decent fonts?
Additionally, I have xfstt running in my system.
