apache-ssl logrotate entry
Hi all,
I have been having problems with the woody apache-ssl package. The
server sometimes dies on me when logrotate is run.
The logrotate.d entry for apache-ssl includes a postrotate script:
postrotate
/etc/init.d/apache-ssl reload > /dev/null
endscript
My question is, why not use "copytruncate" and avoid sending the server
any signal at all?
It just seems like a good idea to me, but I guess that if the package
maintainer osn't using it there must be a good reason. Anyone know what
the reason is?
